Tips for Preparing for Your Life Insurance Medical Exam
To ensure accurate results, follow these preparation tips before your life insurance medical exam:
Fast for 8 Hours: Avoid eating or drinking anything other than water for at least 8 hours before the exam.
Stay Hydrated: Drink a large glass of water one hour before your exam to ensure an easy urine sample collection.
Avoid Salts and Fatty Foods: These can affect your blood pressure and cholesterol levels, so it's best to avoid them before the exam.
Skip the Workout: Strenuous exercise can temporarily elevate your heart rate and blood pressure. Rest instead.
Prepare a Medication List: Have a list of all medications you’re currently taking to share with the examiner.
Get Plenty of Sleep: A good night’s sleep can help ensure more accurate blood pressure and heart rate readings.
